Annual awards event honoring UICOMP students
The UICOMP Class of 1979 are cordially invited to attend a special gathering. Dr. Carl E. Strauch, UICOMP Class of 1979, was selected to receive the 2018 Alumnus of the Year award, so we are bringing the whole class together to celebrate.
The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria Class of 2018 will receive their medical degrees Saturday, May 5 at the Peoria Civic Center.
This event will provide training, information, and resources for Emergency Physicians, Family Medicine Practitioners, OB/GYNs, Behavioral Health Practitioners, NPs, APNs and Medical Students to increase the knowledge and skills to provide PrEP to patients at high risk for contracting HIV.
Anatomy education is a central part of future physicians’ training in the structure and function of the human body. Teaching anatomy, however, has changed radically over the past two millennia – and was at some points not even allowed! Come join UICOMP’s Health, Humanity, and Society to learn more!
Annual Family Medicine Research Day. The event will showcase the medical research projects performed by the Family Medicine Residents.
All UICOMP faculty are encouraged to attend this annual event. Refreshments will be served. Each UICOMP department will provide a brief annual report.
A brief morning reception to celebrate the Pediatric Resource Center's 25-year history of positively impacting the lives of abused and neglected children in central Illinois. Light refreshments will be provided.
