Southern Voice Talks is a new initiative by Southern Voice (SV) that provides a space for knowledge exchange and meaningful dialogue among researchers, policymakers, and key global stakeholders. It focuses on key themes and emerging issues shaping the development agenda, aiming to amplify Global South perspectives and elevate their influence within global debates.
The virtual event will highlight how to engage more young people in policy debates, their role in shaping the global development agenda, and their contribution to solving global challenges. To explore this topic, SV talks will present a study from their latest publication, Global South Perspectives, on youth engagement and participation in Bolivia. The session will also draw from the experiences of experts who work to increase youth participation and to make youth participation more meaningful and impactful.
