Textbooks set standards of student learning outcomes to be prepared for the next level of coursework. However, what happens when the research on student learning demonstrates that learning outcomes in textbooks are not level-appropriate for learners? From selecting the right instructional material to creating meaningful assessments, this Art of Teaching Session will give you the tools create curricula to enhance your pedagogy and student learning based in evidence-based research as well as to set realistic outcomes established by research.
