Are you a first-gen student, or simply interested in the experiences of the first-gen community? Join us for an hour of inspiring stories, meaningful conversation, and connection at the First-Gen Forward Event. This fall’s program features two remarkable speakers:
- Kimberly J. Alexander-Brown, JD, Acting Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Success, Inclusion and Belonging, and Executive Director of the Michael L. Jeffries, Sr. Center for Access and Academic Success, who will share her journey as a first-gen scholar and advocate.
- Amie Baumeister, Assistant Director for Gender Equity at the Women’s Resources Center and a proud First-Gen staff alumna, who will bring a powerful perspective on resilience, empowerment, and building inclusive communities.
Lunch will be provided, and a Q&A will follow the talks. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the strength of our First-Gen community!
