Dr. Julian Williams is a Senior Evaluation Officer at the MacArthur Foundation, where he leads evaluation across program areas to inform decision-making and advance learning at the program, organizational, and field levels. He previously led statewide efforts to close racial and income-based gaps in college degree attainment through the Partnership for College Completion. Prior to that, he founded and led his own evaluation consulting practice. A Ph.D. graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, his scholarship, civic leadership, and commitment to justice reflect a career dedicated to using evaluation as a tool for meaningful change.
