Course Description:

University of Illinois System and state regulations require each unit to complete and certify a physical inventory of their movable equipment every two years. These movable equipment items are a vital asset of the University of Illinois System. The biennial inventory process verifies the accuracy of each item’s record and assures that the item is physically present.

In this course, you will learn the process of conducting physical inventory and the steps in verifying the biennial inventory. You will watch how to access the Biennial Inventory system and load the inventory list. This course covers inventory policies and procedures and problem-solving.

In addition, you will see how the Biennial Inventory mobile app can be used to help conduct physical inventory. The Biennial Inventory mobile app https://internalapps.herokuapp.com/biennial.html is an optional tool available for your unit-procured Android tablet or iPad.
