Join us for a panel discussion (10:30 am) and tours (1–5 pm) in conjunction with the Krannert Art Museum exhibition Making Place for the Arts at Home: Performance and Midcentury Modern Architecture (on view through July 12).

This day-long event begins with a panel presentation at 10:30 am at Krannert Art Museum on preservation and midcentury modern architecture, in celebration of Preservation Month.

In the afternoon, from 1–5 pm, four featured homes will be open for tours: the Margaret Erlanger House by Jack Baker in west Urbana, the Jack Baker Loft and Studio in downtown Champaign, A. Richard Williams’s Pallachutheril Residence in Champaign, and the Japanese House and Gardens of James A. and Lorene M. Bier by John Replinger.

The panel discussion is free and open to the public. Tickets to the home tours are $35 and benefit the Champaign County History Museum. Limited quantity. Purchase Home Tour tickets >
