The annual Report of Non-University Activities (RNUA) process has begun. University policy requires academic staff to disclose and obtain prior approval for non-university income producing activities. The annual reporting process is not intended to discourage external activities, but is designed to measure and monitor potential conflicts that may result from these activities. An electronic application, START myDisclosures, will be used again this year to streamline the reporting process. Please submit your RNUA using the START myDisclosures system by Monday, October 12.
Additional information about the RNUA process is available through the links below.

The University’s Conflict of Commitment and Interest (COCI) policy that governs the RNUA process is available online at https://www.vpaa.uillinois.edu/rnua/coci_policy. I encourage you to review the current policy as it is intended to provide a framework for judging the propriety and advisability of non-university activities.
