More than ever, donors are interested in making gifts to support historically marginalized students. This session will provide an overview of the legal issues related to gifts with protected class restrictions and help you develop strategies that meet donor intent, while also minimizing the university’s risk. Your questions and examples will be an important part of this course. This course is recommended for all frontline fundraisers (including leadership annual giving officers, major gift officers, unit advancement leads, and advancement executives) as well as stewardship officers.
