The 2025 Roger Ebert’s Film Festival will open at 6:30 p.m. with a screening of a new 70mm print of the Western classic THE SEARCHERS (1956), starring John Wayne and Natalie Wood, with a post-screening discussion with special guest Eric Pierson, Professor of Communication Studies at the University of San Diego and University of Illinois alum (BFA ’83, FAA; PhD ’00, ICR).
