MAXQDA is a robust software for analyzing qualitative data, including text, media, and survey data. MAXQDA is available for free to all campus users via Illinois Computes. This is the third and final workshop in a three-part series on using MAXQDA for analyzing qualitative data and assumes that you know how to work with codes and data files in a MAXQDA project.
By the end of this workshops, we hope you'll be able to:
- Use activation to view data for specific codes and documents
- Use MAXQDA reports to explore the distribution of codes across documents and how codes intersect within documents.
- Compare coded data across groups within the data.
- Generate an inter-rater reliability rating for multiple coders.
- Use summaries of coded segments to develop interpretations of data.
- Develop and export numerical reports of applied codes.
