Qualitative data analysis software programs can be valuable tools for organizing research sources for a literature review. This workshop will demonstrate techniques for organizing and analyzing literature in the software program MAXQDA, though the strategies will be relevant to other qualitative data analysis tools like NVivo or Atlas.ti.
By the end of this workshop, we hope you'll be able to:
- Export citation data from Zotero and import into MAXQDA
- Use MAXQDA organizational features to categorize research sources
- Use coding tools label relevant parts of research literature
- Analyze coded data to develop your literature review
This workshop will be held online and recorded for later viewing on the Qualitative Data Analysis research guide. Anyone who registers for the in-person or online version of this workshop will receive an email with a link to the recording and slides.
If you have specific you'd like to see addressed in the workshop, please indicate those on the registration form or contact Jess Hagman (jhagman@illinois.edu).
