Transitional Justice in Mexico: Sisyphus on the Hill
📍 Coble Hall 306
📅 October 29 | 🕒 3:00 PM
Join us for a talk with Francisco Javier Ramírez Treviño (UAM-A) on the challenges of transitional justice in Mexico. Over the past two decades, efforts such as the Special Prosecutor’s Office, the Guerrero Truth Commission, and the López Obrador government’s commission have sought to confront state violence and advance human rights. Despite these initiatives, the struggle against impunity, silence, and ongoing violence continues—much like Sisyphus’ endless task.
