This program includes an info session and walking tour. The info session will cover the application process and course requirements for both the major and the minor, as well as some aspects of student life and professional development in the field. Following the info session, attendees will join academic advisor Ben LeRoy on a walking tour of Champaign's Campustown neighborhood, where he will explain the planning story behind why this neighborhood looks and functions the way it does. The tour will end on Green St. near Wright St.Students are welcome to attend the entire program or the info session alone. Students may not attend the walking tour without attending the info session. If the weather is bad, the walking tour will be cancelled and the info session will be extended to fill the time.
