Choreographers Rena Butler and Dr. C. Kemal Nance premier new works; Dr. Cynthia Oliver performs spoken word; and Roxane D'Orléans Juste performs with Sonia D'Orléans Juste.

    The University of Illinois Philharmonia Orchestra (Philharmonia) performs major literature from the 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. It is comprised of students representing upwards of 35 majors from throughout the university community.

    Indian-born drummer/electronic music producer Ravish Momin (also known as Sunken Cages), studied with US Jazz master-drummer Andrew Cyrille. His current projects include 'Turning Jewels Into Water' (with Haitian electronic music pioneer Val Jeanty), a duo with dragonchild (Ethio-American saxophonist DA Mekonnen of Debo Band) and Zelzeleh (a Digital Sufi Ensemble).

    Chicago-based trumpeter Emily Kuhn brings her quintet to Krannert Center Uncorked, as part of the 2025 CU Jazz Festival. Her quintet will be performing new original compositions and music from Kuhn's recent release, "Ghosts of Us." The album draws inspiration from the natural world, science fiction, and the Covid-19 pandemic.
